The thing about the United Kingdom...

Is that they are never short on holidays.

After one month of April holidays, we are granted with ANOTHER holiday today.
This time, Banks' Holiday. I'm not sure why they need a holiday because i don't see banks having their own public holiday in Singapore. It seems that the holidays here regularly falls on a Monday which is a good news to many but not one to me because it is my free day.

THE bloody essay is gonna be out soon.
Just thought i should talk about this holiday because i would love to read about it one year on and think about today.

Today... YOU made my day.

Also, the holiday here is really a significant inconvenience rather than a day to relax. (Well, at least for me) And it does not help that i happen to have my Mondays free after finishing all my labs. grrr...

totally right on that wee!

I can't stand the thought of many shops closing for the day. i now know why it's called bank hols. It's just another word for public holidays.

But of course, i was too dumb to assume and took it literally. :)

oh! hahaha! No offence, but you thought the banks just got together someday and decided to declare that they are not going to work on certain days in the year? hohoho. =)

awwww, come on.... :/ i make silly mistakes too, like pronouncing Leicestershire as 'Lei-cest-er-shi-ire' and Derby as, uh, 'The-by'.

Haha, the frustrated guy at the train station gave up and requested me to spell out the place on a piece of paper. hahhaha
